The Staff Assistant fulfills Church of the Resurrection’s mission “to know Christ and make Him known” by providing administrative and ministry support to Resurrection’s pastoral staff as they seek to fulfill their position descriptions. The Director of Student Ministry seeks to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of middle and high school students through relational and programmatic opportunities that foster bible study, worship, prayer, growth, evangelism, mission, fun. Additional goals include: ▪ Create a sense of community among students and provide natural opportunities for students to invite friends to “come and see”. ▪ Raise up and train volunteer leaders who will commit to investing time and energy into students through healthy and consistent relational interaction. ▪ Help to teach and encourage parents and the wider church community about their role and responsibility in sharing their faith and discipling students.
AIM is a one-year apprenticeship for 2-4 college graduates* to experience gospel ministry in the context of local church. AIM participants will receive a broad range of experience in gospel ministry with a concentration in a field or fields of their choice. They will receive ministry training and hands-on experience, participate in theological studies, coaching and peer-to-peer learning, all while contributing to the ongoing ministry of the church. Participants will leave their apprenticeship with greater clarity on their calling, mission, and purpose as a follower of Christ.

This position will oversee one of the following areas: Middle School Girls, Middle School Boys, High School Girls, or High School Boys.

The Pastor for Missions and Outreach has a burning passion for the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20), the heart of a shepherd to address the needs of our neighbors (Matthew 25: 40-43), and a Spirit-led fervor to mobilize the church and develop leaders to bear witness to proclaim the Gospel (Acts 1: 8) and establish the church where it doesn’t yet exist. In coordination with the Rector and the Executive Director, responsible for the development of the church’s strategic vision and initiatives around local outreach and engagement, international missions, and church planting. Gives managerial and pastoral oversight to urban, immigrant, and world outreach ministries as leader of the Missions and Outreach department.
